So it all started like, two months ago with this one lesson. Oh and a horse. This horse, well he was tall. And he had one white sock on his hind leg. But his face was shrouded with a fly mask. Beneath this mask was the sweetest, most intelligent eyes. And yes, he had a white blaze which actually makes a little L on his forehead. So I dubbed him loser. But that seemed a little mean, and so I just call him Cabby Caboo or buddy. Every horse I call buddy except the mares. I hate mares. Their too... B*****. :] no offense to the mare lovers. But I know what women are like when their on their time of the month. Horses in heat, are like 30 X worse. O.O i don't like getting bucked... stepped on... bitten... or kicked. And yeah. that all happened in one day.

BUT i got off track. This horse, his name was Cabby. and that's all for my heart warming tale because he's a pain in my butt and I half lease him. WOO. My first-almost-horse. He keeps me sane in this town. Which is hard to do because I'm so freaking bored. :] He's 17.2 hands, and if you've ever seen a horse that's 17.2 hands you know how tall they are. Or compared too me because I'm like 5 and a half feet. I seem so little compared to him :3 and so do the ponies. They are like, little miniatures compared to him. And i'm sometimes in lessons with the girls who ride said tiny ponies. And me and my trainer laugh. I was actually feeding him a treat and somehow he swallowed my hand...

So I'm ranting, and I sound like a child. But I'm kind of in love with him <3 He has the same personality as me--sort of--and it's a good match. Mostly for the fact that, if you try to force him to walk forward--or do anything for that matter--you won't get any results. If you gentle him and ask nicely the first time he'll basically do anything for you. Especially if you have horse cookies or carrots :] you know, the good stuff. I just wish my barn had actual pastures. We only have paddocks, so each horse has his/her own. Except the school horses are paired up. Sometimes I think hey like it better. But it would be nice to see a group of horses playing in the snow or galloping around.

I also need a saddle and some spurrs. I want a Devocoux because their so damn comfy. But their so damn expensive. In a year or two i'll pay for one. But for now I think I'll get a used one at the nearest tack store. At least I wont have to lug it back and forth. UGH!
